i dont like this poem so un meaning ful why did li bai depart?? Where did he hear footsteps?/ and who sang on the shore. No such thing as a peach blossom pool!!

Li Bai wrote this poem as a gift for his friend Wang Lun. He went for a visit and as he departed, Wang Lun came to say goodbye. What Li Bai heard was Wang Lun's footsteps as he approached the shore and sang his farewell song. Peach Blossom Pool is the name of a pool or river that existed at that time in the area where this event happened.
